What does a YES vote mean for your business?

From October, you will get the chance to vote on whether or not you want the BID to continue for another five years, and this is the document that will help you decide how to cast your vote. The BID proposal contains a summary of the services and benefits you will receive if the BID is supported in that ballot.

We are also proposing to extend the BID area, which means that if the BID is successful, we'll welcome another 213 members. Everyone will contribute an annual levy equal to 1.5% of their rateable value to fund delivery of the services.

Whether or not you have been a part of the BID over the 20 years of its operation, we hope you will support the BID to continue driving local economic growth, funding Christmas lights, cleaning, security, area promotion, networking and training.

Here are some of the services your business will be able to benefit from, from 2027, if the BID is successful for a fifth term.
