Did you know the Met has two schemes to give the public a better understanding of its work and hear their needs?

The Ride Along initiative gives anyone living in London the chance to join one of its teams on patrol, and is most suitable for people interested in becoming a Met Police officer. You can join officers from a range of departments, including Roads Policing and the Emergency Policing Response Team.

Women working and living in London can Walk & Talk with officers to share their thoughts on women’s safety and how to improve it. Perhaps there are certain areas of town you would like to highlight to your local police officers to give them a better understanding of your concerns.

If businesses are keen to take part, email Jan@angelislington.london to register your interest.
