Members of Angel BID are invited to take part in WorkWell North-Central London, a free, government funded, pilot work and health programme.

WorkWell collaborates with businesses and their staff to provide a holistic service, focused on positive health outcomes. Employees who join our programme will be offered 8, weekly coaching sessions to help promote their recovery, increase their capacity for work, and identify other sources of support.

Not only does partnering with WorkWell allow you to demonstrate your commitment to staff wellbeing, programmes such as ours are good for business too. According to the UK Government’s March 2025 Pathways to Work Green Paper:

“On average, employers could save between £5,000 and £11,000, for each employee they prevent from falling out of work”

WorkWell aims to support employees with health issues or health-related absences as early as possible, to prevent costly staff turn-over and lengthy management processes. This is why we’re asking Employers like yourselves to spread the word about our service to your staff.

Both employees and employers (with their staff’s permission) can make referrals:

WorkWell is free to use as it is funded by the Department for Work and Pensions and the Department for Health and Social Care. Shaw Trust has been commissioned to deliver WorkWell North-Central London by the North Central London Integrated Care System.

If you have any questions, or would like to find out more about our service, please email Tom at thomas.harrington-roberts@shaw-trust.org.uk who would be happy to assist.
